1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Cheffy (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable Australian laws and regulations. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Platform Description
Cheffy is a marketplace that connects customers with independent local home chefs across Australia. Cheffy Technologies Pty Ltd acts as an intermediary and is not a party to the transaction between customers and chefs.
3. User Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@cheffy.com.au of any unauthorised use.
4. Chef Obligations
Chefs must comply with all applicable food safety laws, including the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code. Chefs are responsible for accurate menu descriptions, allergen information, and timely fulfilment of orders.
5. Customer Obligations
Customers must provide accurate delivery information and pay for orders in full. Chargebacks or disputes must be raised through our support team before initiating a bank dispute.
6. Payments & Refunds
All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and inclusive of GST where applicable. Refunds are handled in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. Contact support@cheffy.com.au within 24 hours of an order issue.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You must not use the Platform to engage in fraudulent activity, post false reviews, harass other users, or violate any applicable law. Cheffy reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts in breach of these terms.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, Cheffy Technologies Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the Platform. Our liability is limited to the value of the order in dispute.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
